After graduation, spent time at the Tokyo Glass Art Institute and produced and designed blown glass at Rurian in Nagasaki.During a 3 year stay in New York, he attended the School of Fine Arts at the National Academy of Design while producing work at Urban Glass and exhibiting at galleries and shops.In 2004, his work was selected for inclusion in the Japan Craft Exhibition. After returning to Japan, he authored picture books, produced restaurants, participated in table art exhibitions and planned and managed concerts, crossing genres in a wide variety of pursuits while continuing to devote himself to production in his glass studio. 2006 saw a successful solo exhibition being held in Hiroo, and in 2007 he handled the design for Laglass, a fusion of Ryukyu (Okinawan) glass and lacquer art, and started pursuing work as a glass designer as well.
